  Hey everyone, I just found out that some meme account on Instagram is using my picture in a really messed-up, NSFW post that’s completely defamatory. I never gave them permission to use my image, and it’s seriously damaging to my reputation.
  
  I’ve already reported the post to Instagram, but I know how slow they can be with this stuff. Is there anything else I can do to get it taken down faster? Should I be considering legal action? Has anyone dealt with something like this before?
  
  Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!

  Hi, best way out of this considering you’re not in the country is to send a legal notice. The account may not want the hassle and may just remove it (if removal is all you want).

      Get a lawyer of some standing who can send a legal notice (which means a letter from your lawyer threatening legal action). Several criminal offences are made out if this is an NSFW post.
