March 30, 2025 at 12:03 pmHey everyone, I just found out that some meme account on Instagram is using my picture in a really messed-up, NSFW post thatβs completely defamatory. I never gave them permission to use my image, and itβs seriously damaging to my reputation.Iβve already reported the post to Instagram, but I know how slow they can be with this stuff. Is there anything else I can do to get it taken down faster? Should I be considering legal action? Has anyone dealt with something like this before?
Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!

March 30, 2025 at 12:57 pmHi, best way out of this considering you’re not in the country is to send a legal notice. The account may not want the hassle and may just remove it (if removal is all you want).-

March 30, 2025 at 1:04 pmGet a lawyer of some standing who can send a legal notice (which means a letter from your lawyer threatening legal action). Several criminal offences are made out if this is an NSFW post.
