April 30, 2026 at 1:50 pmContext: A redditor has accused me of trying to “slut-shame” her because I posted a screenshot of a post she made (which was very relevant to the conversation). That post was hidden, not deleted, so all I did was use the “author:” command, which isn’t against the rules. She had claimed that she filed a case against me and later, when I DMed her, she claims that she hasn’t filed a case yet but now that I have DMed her, she will. So she was casually using legal threats to silence a party over a petty reddit dispute.
Misc info: I also heavily suspect that she was on her alt and is actually a moderator of that subreddit, because I have been permabanned from that sub and the explanation given by the mod team sounds very similar to her way of texting. I have asked around but unfortunately it seems like that’s not a violation of rules, although I would want to clarify once more.
I am 99% sure authorities wouldn’t give a damn about such a petty matter (more context will be given if someone shows interest), so I am not scared of legal escalation. I do however, want to know if I can retaliate against this in one way or another.
What can be done about this?
