UMy Mother, she had been a victim of 20 years of toxic, emotionally exhausting domestic abuse.
She had been hit by an iron rod when I was a baby because my father’s extra marital affair was not talking to him.
My father is an absolute human monster, in one instance, asked my mother’s aunt to sleep with him and he had been involved in a lot of affairs, I guess that tells you the monster he is.
He is a drunkard and whenever he drinks, he emotionally abuses me and my mother, he had been involved in a lot of fights and had been in jail for several times.
His whole family abused my maternal family for dowry and had been taking money from my uncle (mother’s brother).
My uncle hoped that if he gives money to my father, my father would stop these abuses but that didn’t stop, when my uncle found that we have been getting beaten he stopped sending money.
Since my father’s only source of money had been stopped, his behaviour totally changed he finally showed his true colours, from that day he had never treated us like humans, constant beatings and torture.
**Finally, we have escaped from him, My mother and I are staying at a relative’s house.**
**It has been 3 days since, we want to file a case to end this for once.**
**1) Apart from divorce, what all other cases we can file?**
We want to file as many cases, to maximize the amount of sentence that he gets, but that makes his desire for vengeance more, because he nevers takes culpability and thinks that everything (even his behavior is blamed on us).

**Context:** I am a 17 year old male, who recently escaped from my father, looking for advice and the type of cases that we should file.
**TLDR;** Me and my mother escaped from a toxic household and I’m looking for some legal advice.
