About Islamic marriage act !! Suggest pls

if I convert to Islam after marriage will the marriage still be considered under islamic marriage law when divorce happens !? Or do I need to convert before the wedding for the marriage to be valid under the Islamic Marriage Act?

Yes. Hence first marry under Special marriage Act and then do Islamic marriage.

If you are male then Islamic marriage is beneficial. If female then better go for Special marriage Act
