Accidentally paid more amount than required at vcare centre

I paid 11k instead of 1100 at a vcare centre on 12th March. At the time they said they can’t do anything file a complaint to the main branch which was in Chennai and it might take 3 days.

So, I filed a complaint on NPCI on the same day and went to my bank as well. They said, since I already filed a complaint at NPCI, they said not to worry and filed the complaint from thier side too.

Now, When I called that vcare centre yesterday, they’re saying that it might take longer like 5 days for the refund since the manager is on a sick leave. I feel like I’m being led on.

What options do I have left?
Will I get my money back?
Should I file an FIR too?
How do these complaints work exactly?

I’m positive you’ll get the money back from vCare. Let’s just wait for them to respond. It’s not worth it for them to lose their reputation for such a small amount.
