Accused person in different state

We filed an FIR against 1 known person and some unknown persons (owner of a Facebook account) for bullying my sister online.

The identity of the unknown person is now known to the cops (Facebook gave them the details). But he lives in a faraway state.

What is the general procedure in such cases? Will they call him here? Will they go to visit him for questioning? Will they get him arrested via local police?
