SThis is mostly in regards to my college admission thats coming up soon. So my caste certificate was issued in 2019 by the Sub-Divisional Officer. I checked on the government website of my state and I found that my details were on there, but there was no digital certificate. When i tried downloading the certificate, it said that certificate not digitally signed. I tried applying for digitization but for some reason the website keeps freezing. They were supposed to give me an application number but its not coming. Now my question is whether it is necessary for me to digitize my caste certificate, or can I show my manual certificate during admission and that would be valid? How important is it for me to get a digital version of my certificate? Please share any advice you have in this regard.
