Awaiting refund from police for cyber fraud

Dear all,

We were conned by a scamster but after filing a report with the cyber cell, we managed to get an order from the court which would disburse the amount we are to receive.

However, despite a court order and legitimate legal orders, the local police station, which is supposed to issue the money from the criminal’s account, is making us run too many errands.

Any advice on how to conclude this? We were under the impression that our hard earned money will come back but law enforcement is being a total pain here.

In increasing order of difficulty in terms of time, money & frustration levels

– Complain to the SP of the area
– RTI against the station to explain delay
– Pay papers with photos of Gandhiji to the station in-charge
– Get a lawyer
