April 19, 2025 at 1:15 pmI was browsing the credit card section on the Axis Bank mobile app to check out some options. I didn’t apply or submit any information—just looked around.Starting the very next day, I began receiving 20–30 promotional calls every single day. I block one number, and then another one calls. It’s non-stop.
I contacted the bank and asked them to stop the calls. I also mentioned that my number is already registered under DND (Do Not Disturb), so I shouldn’t be receiving these in the first place. Their only response was, “We’ll check and get back to you in 20 days.” That’s it.
This is getting really frustrating. I work late and usually sleep around 4 AM, but these calls start coming in from 9 AM. I can’t keep my phone on silent either because my mom sometimes gets severe cramps at night, and I need to stay reachable.
This level of spam just from browsing their app feels like a huge violation of privacy.
Has anyone else faced this? Is there anything I can do to stop it?

April 19, 2025 at 1:57 pmRegister for DND and then report every single spam call for a month. Make sure you answer the call for 5-10 seconds, this is needed for the DND violation report.Did this for a month, I hardly get 1 or 2 spam calls in a week.
Blocking numbers isn’t going work. When a ton of us report these guys on DND they numbers get de-registered and this is the only way we can have peace.
