May 9, 2025 at 7:00 amHi, I bought a product from company on India Mart – It arrived to me in New Zealand badly damaged, Fed Ex have said that because the outside packaging is intact (despite being opened by Customs and searched & taped up) – The seller is saying not his fault. How do I lodge a grievance from New Zealand? -

May 9, 2025 at 7:58 amIdeally, it’s FedEx’s responsibility. You should have gotten the same written at the time of the delivery. (That item is damaged at the time of delivery.)
It seems a clear case of damage during transit; the seller is not at fault, actually. FedEx must reimburse the insured amount.
If you still have some proof, escalate to FedEx.-
