I am participating in a bank auction where bank doesn’t possess sale deed of the property.While they are trying the route of recovery certificate from DRT. Is RC valid to prove ownership of the property for bank ? Is it really possible for the bank to sell the property without sale deed ? If someone could shed some light on this, it would be helpful. Discussions are still in preliminary stage, if finalized will engage a property lawyer.
