March 21, 2025 at 6:27 pmMy dad had opened a account in osmanabad district co operative bank in osmanadad district
We opened the account long time ago more than 10 years ago my dad deposited the amount of 3 lakh rupees in that account
We have all the records including bank passbook.
The bank employees are telling us that bank do not have funds to give back our money.
The chairman of the bank refused to give back our money he says wait for some more
Years. The bank is limited to that district only
What are the legal ways that we can get our money back?

March 22, 2025 at 7:00 amCo-operative banks till recently did not get the same amount of oversight by the RBI as the regular Scheduled Commercial Banks. This allowed for a ton of corruption in them leading to what is essentially bank runs.-

March 22, 2025 at 1:29 pmSimplest way is write a letter to manager with proper date and time . Wait one week.
Write a mail to bank explaining all the events chronologically.
Wait one week.
Write the same email again this time include rbi in the cc.
Resend emails twice a day.
This is an extremely useful way to deal with banks . Works all the time.
