April 19, 2025 at 9:52 amI happened to visit my bank. I have a locker there. I went to take my belongings but they were working on the locker main door. There were no prior intimation of such activities. I went and saw there were no guards next to the lockers. The employees were seated in a separate room in the front. The lockers were easily accessible to the workers. The whole place unsafe and didn’t look secure. Is this how bank’s operate. Are there no RBI guidelines for such maintenance. I kept all my savings in there since I was traveling. Is this how they protect. What if I lost my savings. I want the bank to take responsibility. I want advice on can I complaint this to consumer court or something. This is one of the big private bank in the country. Can I sue them for negligence. There were no intimations and the work wouldn’t complete till May. -
