birth certificate error, fix it or get a new one?

My birth certificate has errors in both parents’ names, all my other documents are fine tho, even the hospital certificate. I cant get it fixed easily cause I live in the far north of the country, and I’d have to travel to my place of birth, i.e. Karnataka and actually be there for a couple of months which is not possible rn.

Now my dad (and relatives ngl) is basically forcing me to pay a bribe and get a new birth certificate made. I don’t want to do that because I’m worried it could cause problems in the future.

What if authorities cross-check records and find that I have two different birth records, one in Karnataka and one here? I’ll be accused of forgery right? Or worse, counted as illegal immigrant?

So now pls advise, what should I do? Get a new birth certificate made? Or Get the old one corrected? If yes then how?
