Birth certificate for passport verification

I went to police station for my passport verification, they told me that I need to get a digitalized birth certificate not a certificate with stamp which I have been using for years……I was born in nagpur and I live in Kolkata so it’s not easy to travel there as I have college studies and some work.

Some guys told me that these police do bullsh1t like this, they actually needed goose but didn’t ask me at all.
