March 19, 2025 at 5:18 pmI have completed a housing project and obtained completion certificate for the same. Have utilized all allowable fsi. Now after receiving completion certificate and occupancy certificate, i plan to do additional extra construction converting open terrace areas into rooms. I am the sole owner of land and house too. I will not affect any margin side and front. I am hoping i wont have any problems as there is no possibility of anyone making a complaint against me , neighbors or anyone who wouldnโt know what i did. There would be no problem structurally as i myself am a structural designer engineer. Can i live peacefully ever after without any consequences??? -

March 19, 2025 at 5:31 pmNope. What you’re doing is straight up illegal.If general harassment from the municipal authority is rampant in your area then you will be harassed too.
If the municipality is not very active about such things then sure – you may live peacefully.
But do understand that it is illegal.
Worst case scenario is you getting a notice to demolish the rooms.
Best case scenario is the relevant department people will take some bribes and let you go.
