Can i get Cheques by Nickname or Alias

**My official name is A on documents.**

**but my well known and in creative field name is B. Everyone calls me by this name.**

I’m a graphic designer and motion designer. I always get payments either in online or cash,

but recently i have scaled up for big projects and getting some cheques by big clients.

They are giving me the cheques by name B, but every time i have to request them to give me another cheque by my official name A.

How can i deal with this situation? Can i create a bank account by my alias or.

One of my friend said that you should register as a business and all but i don’t know much about that.

They can’t, at least not in a simple way. What your friend is suggesting seems like overkill, just ask them to amend it when convenient.

this is recipe for disaster in case of a cheque bounce. Ask your clients to issue cheques on your og name!!
