March 15, 2025 at 3:19 pmI bought motorola edge 50. It has severe heating issues and very low battery life for a 5000mah battery. I bought it on Flipkart it has 10 day return policy but it states that for motorola we contact service center but on pressing link it just buffers. So I search on reddit and find not much will get done through motorola service center. I recommended it to my dad who is retiring soon now I feel bad for getting him this. Please any help will be good. -

March 15, 2025 at 3:52 pmYou have to do online search before making a purchase. Keep this incidence as a costly learning lesson and sell in highest price possible if unable to use this mobile.-

March 15, 2025 at 3:59 pmDude you rubbing salt in my wound but yeah I just just checked battery capacity and since 5000mah. Bought it for my dad just before his retirement but didn’t expect this to happen and I just gave the green flag when he asked if this is a good phone(I got attracted by the 5 year update and camera spec) next time changing phone is gonna be after me getting a job(I am 2nd year engineering student). You telling me this is making me feel really guilty ππ

March 15, 2025 at 4:31 pmThey have people who specialize in fixing things in service centre.
Stop being lazy and guilty and visit nearest service center by searching on Google and take the bill with you.No one on reddit is gonna go to service center and without showing phone to motorola, u cannot file a case in consumer court.

March 16, 2025 at 12:45 amOP is living in a parallel world , visiting the service centre and getting it replaced is 10x quicker and cheaper than the court , also your case would be dismissed as quickly as you never had been to get it checked/serviced.-

March 16, 2025 at 3:16 pmLawyer here practicing at high court of Delhi. Iβm handling similar case like yours. You donβt need to visit service centre or anywhere else.
Send legal notices to motorola, flipkart and seller listed on flipkart. Itβs clearly deficiency of service.
If they fail to respond, then move to comsumer court
