PI joined this company a last years ago and after a few months they asked me leave as they’d overhired people and there isn’t much work. They forced me to put down my papers and leave.
I was jobless for almost 6 months since the market is bad there weren’t a lot of jobs in the market for my position. I finally accepted an offer with a much lesser pay just for the sake of starting somewhere, now my ex-manager from this company called an asked would you like to join back? I was skeptical but the pay was better that the current place I was working so I went ahead and the COO assured that this won’t happen again since the company is growing and there’s a lot of work. Last month the COO and the founder had a fall out due to some other issue and now she has again fired 2 people and planning to fire more. I got to know that my name is also in the list.
This is the 2nd time they would be doing something like this. Can you guys please suggest what can I do in this case?
