Can my company force me to pay for the group medical policy if i don’t want to opt-in?

My company is automatically deducting premium for group medical policy from my salary without giving me any option to opt out.

The medical policy belongs to historic Era as it is giving just 2 lakhs cover with 10% co-pay and charging me around 1000/ – per month.

I already have a much better retail policy.

Can company force me to be on group medical policy?
