Cars are blocking shop

We own a small shop, but we’ve been facing an issue where customers from nearby shops frequently block our parking area by leaving their cars on the road(for about more than 30 mins and few hours some times). Is there a legal way to address this situation?

No. you buy a dummy car and park there permanently.

They park on the road , basically meaning I would block half of the road and would result in the same problem

Put up a sign on stand.

“Parking only for customers of XYZ shop.”

You may also hire a security guard if you have enough parking space for own customers, and this security will open doors for customers as well.

Our shop is very small(single shutter) , we only have 2 wheeler parking and we do allow their customers to park if they wanna park a two wheeler but 4 Wheelers cuz the problem (block the road)

Of its not your personal parking space you can’t do anything. You might lose potential customers in the long run.
I am definitely not going to a shop who i had altercation with for parking

It ain’t about parking space it’s about parking on the road (which is probably illega)l and blocking customers to enter the shop

Ah got your point, i hate those guys who park their vehicle in middle of the road causing congestion.

If there is no cctv just scratch thier car ,they cant blame you for that

Put few signs. That should mostly be enough. Keep in a visible area.

If the parking is purchased then you could do that. If it’s general then you cannot do that

Exactly! Look at the audacity of OP, trying to prevent people from parking on a public road because it blocks his shop.

A cafe owner asked me to remove my car because it was blocking his cafe. I told him it’s a public road and I can park where ever I want.

If its a designated parking area you cannot. If its not, you can call the police. local department and erect a board right there. You are done.

Create a barricade or pathway using those metal stands , I have seen those in markets
