Hi, The case came yo court after 1.5 years and date is set in Nay 2025.
Within these 2 years my NRI husband’s fatger tried approaching 4 tines through different means to settel for some money 5 to 10 lakhs.
The husband and his father have resorted to everything from threats, to trying yo get contacts of different distant family friends to get in touch.
The husband after going to canada had an affair within 4 months took huge money from my parents before and much after canada , his father asked me to go tobcanada meanwhile he took away my 4000 dollars given by parents and then 4000 that I earned yo pay rent and was still in relationship with his gf.
After 2 years his father asked distant friends yo meet my famiky friends to pursue me to live with his son and if not then agree to some money(5L) which btw is way less than what he took from us approx 15 lakhs he took from us and settel for a mutual divorce.
I have refused his advances all the time because I genuinely want his son yo have consequences to his actions.
His son beated, suffocated me with a pillow and kicked me at metro I lived in shelter home to unknown people basement took credit loan to buy ticket to come back hone safe.
Then he blocked everyone in my family.
He and his famiky even though send their lawyers to get info about the case bit his son is absconding and hasn’t appeared or send any of his lawyer to appear in court.
The investigator was bribed by his father so she took 8 months for investigation then again 7 months to send to prosecution department finally he is asked to appear in court on may.
His father in thisbtime has send many distant friends for reconciliation and if not that then agreeing to 5 lakhs for mutual divorce.
On the contract much more was given by me and my family to him and his father for his education and livelihood.
His son did every possible thing to me and then had audacity to ask to live with him.
I neither want to live nor agree to any money .
I can earn back the money I lost but my health, time and life he has ruined is a bigger issue.
I want my justice even though it’s slow .
Can I pursue my case I have all evidence from bank transfer to his verbal and physical abuse on record and through chats.
Can I get justice will he be prosecuted if I pursue my case further and be sent to jail?
I also got email from CBSA canada border agency asking if I can give them statements to pursue a Immigration inadminisibility report on him.
Please guide me appearance of accused is on may , How can I fastback the process?
