February 23, 2025 at 6:38 amHi everyone,
I need to submit a ₹100 stamp bond notary income affidavit to a charitable trust for my medications, but I’m really tight on budget. Yesterday, I went to a local notary who charged me ₹110 for a ₹100 stamp paper. They also quoted an extra ₹200 for writing the affidavit and another ₹200 for notarization.
Since I can’t afford the extra costs, I ended up only buying the stamp paper for ₹110. My plan now is to write the affidavit myself on my mobile, print it on A4 paper, and attach it to the ₹100 stamp paper to avoid paying the ₹200 writing fee.
My questions are:
1. Is this method acceptable, or will the attached printout be considered valid?
2. What is a reasonable fee to pay for notarization under these circumstances?
I’d really appreciate any advice or insights from those who have been through a similar process. Thanks in advance!

Answer 2 – Rs. 200 for notary is standard fees. Your notary has quoted correct rates to you.-

February 23, 2025 at 8:18 amYou can get the document affirmed before any gazetted officer authorized in this behalf. For court filings when a client cannot afford to get notary done, we often have the document affirmed in the Court itself.
