March 27, 2025 at 4:57 amThe person I lent money to stopped payment on a cheque in Jan 2025. I sent him a legal notice which was accepted by his aunt (LOA) on 3rd March 2025. He has only returned half of the money.
I was told by my lawyer that the case needs to be filed within 30 days of the legal notice acceptance.
Is this true? Is it possible to get an extension in this 30 day period timeline?
Please advise ๐. -

March 27, 2025 at 5:59 amIt’s been more than 15 days since he received the legal notice and he has only paid half the money owed. I’m planning to file a case against him and was wondering how much time I have left to file the case.
