SI am sorry, as this will be a kinda long story.
I joined my college in 2020 lockdown. Due to lockdown my 3rd semester exam which was supposed to happen in 2022 feb-march got shifted to somewhere around july-august. So, the Uni informed us to start with 4th Semester and will give break before 3rd Sem Main Exam. I gave the exam and then we got the (web) result on 4/2/23. The marksheet comes from uni to college for us to collect in around a month. When the marksheets arrived in college, mine was the only one missing from the lot. I had a back in 3rd sem (confirmed from web result), so I did not complain about this thinking I will clear that exam and will take the all clear marksheet.
My mom talked with the Vice Principal about this and he blamed it on me saying if I had informed this sooner to them, I could have saved my 1 year which my mom took seriously without even hearing my side and blamed everything on me.
I gave the back exam in Dec-2023 and got the result on 1st May 2024. I had cleared that exam but I was failed in other 2 exams which I didn’t even fill the form or gave the back exam. Those 2 exams were cleared in original result. So, I complained to registrar who is in contact with Uni about this and he sent a mail to them with attaching both the web results.
Now, the Uni told them that they want the marksheets as web results are not considered valid by Uni and its use is only for students to check their marks and nothing else. So, registrar asked me for my main marksheet (which I never got remember?). So, I told him this and the Uni replied to him that they have sent it from their side and its college’s mistake now. Then, registrar told me that Uni said this but he and I both have checked the lot and physical folders and it was genuinely missing. So, the college told me that I cant do anything now and I have to give the back of those 2 new subjects as Reval form filling deadline was also finished. This meant my provisional and degree getting extended by 1 year.
on Dec-2024, I gave the back exams of those 2 subjects and received the web result yesterday and I cleared both.
What should be my next steps??? Should I file a complaint with AICTE or any legal steps that I should take???
