College confisticated phone during exam

I did a bad thing and I brought my phone in university exam at my med school and got caught. This was on 26/4/26 But they refused to give it back after. Today theory exam is over and we have 5 days to prep for practical. But when I went to meet Director, Dean, etc, all of them refused to meet me and keeps saying my phone will not be given back. This is a problem as all my study materials ESPECIALLY for practicals are in there. Is this right? What should I do im worried
