March 16, 2025 at 1:28 pmI been working with this company for more than 16 years. Joined in 2008 in Banglore, then sent on assignment outside India in 2012. Been working outside India till this year. Through out my tenure, I been categorized as employee on assignment from India, and not local hire. Now this year I returned back after resigning. I’m asking to provide PF details, but company is not able to provide me this info. Instead they asked me to check with EPFO. I went to EPFO, they asked me to check with employer to provide membershipid. On checking with my company, they replied me in mail saying membershipid they have on me maps to someone else, so check with epfo. I been pushed back forth here, and in new company I joined they are asking to provide UAN number. What can I do at this point? -
