Company won’t give me annual bonus after quitting

I was working for one of the biggest automotive firms in India for the last 2 years.

I put my papers in the month of Feb’26, I served the notice period and I was relieved from duty on 10th April.

Now, the company pays a good sum of money as annual bonus, which is not considered in the official remuneration letter. This bonus is credited in the month of June based on employees performance.

Since I served the company for the entirety of FY25-26, I assumed that I would be eligible for the bonus after I quit in the FnF.

Unfortunately when I talked to the HR she said that since the amount is credited in June, and I’ll be off the rolls, I will not be paid any amount.

Is there any course of action that I can take?
