February 21, 2025 at 3:44 pmMy brother made a purchase of gold through Tata cliq in dec.
The product is not yet delivered as on 21st feb
I filed an application through NCH for this on 2nd Feb.
The co. Contacted and informed that the product will be delivered in 10days. The reason for delay in delivery is that product was damaged and they r making it again.
I asked if I will get some compensation for this delay, they outright rejected saying they cannot do anything about it.Today I received call from Tata cliq stating that the seller has added few grams of gold into the product and I will have to pay additional amount for that addition. If I don’t I will have to cancel the order.
I seek advice as to what should I do?
It was supposed to be bday gift now the bday has also gone.
Should I pursue the issue in the court?
If yes , what is the process and is it worth it. -

February 21, 2025 at 3:53 pmAsk them to get the “seller” to send another shipment to you of the correct weight. Shouldn’t be rocket science for the geniuses at Tata Cliq to figure out.Anyways all of them are clowns and the only recourse they offer is ‘cancel and refund’

February 21, 2025 at 8:32 pmYou can start by sending a legal notice to Tata Cliq, demanding delivery of the original order without additional charges and seeking compensation for the delay. If they do not resolve the issue, you can file a complaint in the Consumer Court for deficiency in service and unfair trade practices. The process involves filing a complaint with all the supporting documents before the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission. All the best-

February 22, 2025 at 5:09 amThank you for your response. Can I do it through E-dakhil on my own ??
I checked there is no fees required.
So is the whole process online? Or will it require going to court.
And
Can the case be pursued after delivery of product for deficiency in service?
