Courier not delivering

I sent some packages from Bangalore to cochin using a small local packer and mover company. It’s been almost a month and they havent delivered the packages. I call the owner of the complany daily but he doesn’t respond on calls . I tried messaging on WhatsApp and he tells me that he will deliver in 1-2 days and never delivers nor picks up my calls . I have the photo of the bill that he has given . I have the transaction details of the money that was transferred to him and the WhatsApp chats . Requesting for advice from someone who has faced this kind of issues and how to go about this this legally ?

You need to get a legal notice issued to the company.
