I need your advice regarding a consumer issue. On April 3, 2025, I submitted my iPhone 11 (which was in perfect, damage-free condition) to Aptronix PMC Chennai for a battery replacement. However, when I got it back, I discovered the screen was damaged during the service.

I have clear documentation (photos, service records, jobsheet) proving the phone was undamaged at drop-off, yet the service center has not provided a satisfactory resolution. I’m considering taking legal action under consumer protection laws and would appreciate guidance on my rights and the best steps to follow.

TL;DR:
My iPhone 11, handed over in pristine condition for a battery replacement, came back with a damaged screen. Despite solid evidence, the service center isn’t resolving the issue. Need legal advice on consumer rights and next steps.

Send them a legal notice.

File a consumer complaint on e- jagriti and also file a consumer complaint in physical with the local consumer district forum.
