February 14, 2025 at 3:13 amGot a Notice from Police โ Need Advice.I got a notice 35(3) BNSS 2023 yesterday from a Police Station in Delhi regarding an NDPS case. It seems that an FIR (20(B)(ii)(B)/29) has been launched on 20 Jan against someone who brings in pot to my dealer. I have cross verified the FIR and it is legit. Eventually my dealer got busted too and stands accused. Apparently, during their investigation, they checked the accused personโs (dealer) phone (WhatsApp chats, payment history), and my name popped up. Now they want me to appear at the PS today with a male family member. I’m residing in Gurgaon currently, originally from somewhere else.
The notice basically says:
– Donโt commit or abet any crime.
– Show up whenever they call me for the investigation.
– Donโt tamper with evidence or try to influence witnesses.
– Be present in court if required. If I donโt comply, it says I may be produced in front of contempt court. I am very confused on what I should be doing now. Although WhatsApp can’t be considered an official channel for communication it seems legit. I have no idea how serious this is. I didn’t get any call so far. I panicked and blocked the number from which I got the notice. The number seems legit as well based on internet search.
I did score and got it delivered a few times and usually smoke up with my friends over some weekends. There is some considerable history with the dealer. I have been very complacent and did many things wrong from even scoring to the chats and payments. However I need to be worrying about the consequences now.
Will there be implications if I don’t show up? it could get very messy if I went. Any advice would be really helpful. Would really appreciate, thank you. I feel extremely lost and very worried.

February 14, 2025 at 3:23 amIf the consumption was a little, join the investigation. Otherwise take anticipatory bail and then join the investigation. And please stay away from the Google knowledge that this is legit or that isn’t. Theory and practical are two different aspects. You get a notice, verify it through the proper channel and take further action after having consultation with an Advocate.
