April 10, 2025 at 4:05 amOn **April 3rd**, I ordered a phone worth a hefty **โน95,000** on Amazon. It was shipped via **Delhivery** the very next day, **April 4th**. However, almost immediately after shipping, I received a notification stating the order was **undeliverable and being cancelled.**Naturally, I tried to get this resolved ASAP. I contacted both **Amazon customer service and Delhivery support multiple times** to request a re-delivery. Despite my repeated attempts, it was **impossible to arrange a re-delivery.** Frustrated, I gave up and resigned myself to waiting for the phone to be returned so I could get a refund.
Here’s where it gets infuriating: **Delhivery is NOT returning the phone.** They keep **postponing the return date** without any clear reason or explanation. To make matters worse, **Amazon has locked the cancellation option** on my order, stating that “during the estimated delivery period Delhivery might have locked the cancel option.”
So, here I am:
* My โน95,000 phone is stuck with Delhivery.
* It was declared undeliverable almost immediately after shipping.
* Re-delivery request attempts failed.
* The phone is not being returned.
* I cannot even cancel the order on Amazon to initiate a refund.I feel completely helpless and like my money is being held hostage. Has anyone else experienced such a bizarre situation with Delhivery or Amazon? What are my options here?
**I’m looking for advice on:**
* How to escalate this issue with Amazon and Delhivery effectively.
* Legal steps I can consider if they continue to delay the return and refund.
* Any similar experiences and how you resolved them.This is a significant amount of money for me, and the lack of communication and resolution is incredibly stressful. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
**TL;DR:** Ordered a โน95k phone on Amazon shipped via Delhivery. It was immediately marked undeliverable and supposedly cancelled. Re-delivery failed. Delhivery isn’t returning it, keeps postponing. Amazon has locked cancellation. Need advice on how to get my money back.

April 10, 2025 at 4:16 amSome delhivery agent has stolen/lost your phone and either themself and/or the company is trying to save face. No other reason for them to neither deliver nor return the package.Raise all necessary complaints and go to consumer court if still unresolved.

April 10, 2025 at 4:54 amHi. Iโm a Delhi based lawyer. Try visiting the nearest Delhivery office and pull them up. That might help. Else sending them a legal notice and filing a consumer complaint is your best shot. Keep all your proofs intact.-

April 10, 2025 at 4:56 amYou don’t have anything to do with Delhivery.Write to the Amazon CEO desk,(search Amazon CEO email in the internet) describing your issue.
Ask for refund,
Send them images of your emails sent to Delhivery, amazon etc,.Don’t panic, your money will be refunded.
Make sure that Delhivery updated in the tracking, that your product is undeliverable and is being returned to seller.You don’t need to know, what happens in the background.
Finally if all things won’t work, you can ask Amazon team to raise A-Z claim in amazon.

April 10, 2025 at 7:09 amA-Z claims take long months to get resolved, though this is good option too.
But what I would suggest is do a police FIR.
Save all records, then do a consumer court complaint for hefty compensation plus original amount refund.All courts need is proper proofs and previous similar judgements. Then do a out of court settlement with delhivery or amazon if possible.
You need to do it so that future customers also dont face such issues.

So initially I was calling everyday for Refund and amazon support team was saying I need to wait for X days for refund.So after waiting 3 days I dropped an email CEO desk of amazon. One person called me next day and refuded the whole money instanly on call.
So drop an email to CEO desk of Amazon.

April 10, 2025 at 12:11 pmSince when Amazon uses Delhivery, can you check if your order has atleast amazon fulfilled tag. If not your battle will be long. You should push amazon to deliver your order or refund the amount. Delhivery is just an connecting agency its Amazon’s responsibility to either deliver it or cancel and refund your money. Amazon’s support it good I got my installed A/C returned since it was faulty, I have returned iphone 12pro since there was an mark on the back panel. Your case is pretty solid. -

April 10, 2025 at 6:29 pmIn your post you haven’t mentioned even attempting to contact Amazon support. That should have been your first step. If you directly try to go to a consumer forum without trying any of the remedial methods available your case wouldn’t get anywhere. -

April 11, 2025 at 6:26 amDude chill. Talking to amazon customer care agents is a waste of time as half of them are dumb. They won’t look into case history. All they care about is to close the call as soon as possible.Start an email thread just saying that the item is not delivered. They ask you to wait for a few days (usually 15 days from the expected delivery date). Follow up on the same thread after that time is completed. Usually they refund after that. If they still drag it, just forward this email chain and loop in Amazon ceo email.
Then these cases are handled by the executive escalation team, which are resolved quickly.

The fastest way for delivery to respond to you is to tag them in a post stating the entire case on LinkedIn
Tag the CEO and COO
This should be solved by Amazon tho
You have nothing to do with the transaction between Amazon and Delhivery
You ordered from Amazon and need a refund
Call up their customer care and ask them to transfer the call to their seniors
Usually the mid managers get the refund etc cleared quickly -

Find some one who have enough time to hold on and just tell them you are recording, tell them you family this you are a cheater hurt relation with you father, you only motive is proving your innocence to your family. -
