I’m trying to find a competent lawyer to handle a denied insurance claim from Care Insurance, but I’m not sure where to start. I did reach out to my neighbor, who is a lawyer, but their delayed responses and lack of attention to the case don’t sit right with me.
Does anyone here have recommendations for a good lawyer with expertise in insurance claims? Or is this the kind of case that doesn’t require specialized experience and could be handled by a general attorney?
Any advice, resources, or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Follow this:
1. Write it to the Grievance email of the insurance company. Every company has one. Find the details from the IRDAI website (Bima Bharosa): https://irdai.gov.in/grievance-redressal-mechanism1
2. You can raise it with IRDAI too if they don’t provide any satisfactory responses.
3. You can raise the issue with the Insurance Ombudsman as well: https://cioins.co.in/Complaint/OnlinePlease raise an issue on both the portals in brief words with the rejected claim document.
Even after this you are not satisfied, you can send a formal legal notice and then approach consumer court.
