        Hi,

I had knee surgery in 2019 for ligament tear. I did MRI that time. Another MRI, I did in 2022.

Today, I fed all the reports, discharge summary etc. to gemini as I am facing some issue.

I see there is discrepancy b/w what is there in MRI report and what doctor has done. The later 2022 report catches the discrepancy. At this point, I don’t know if report is correct or not. I have the films of MRI but unfortunately Gemini can’t read it.

I am currently more worried about my knee. But, still want to atleast understand who has done the wrong thing and what are the legal options.

The doctor who did my surgery is very reputed one in bangalore. Somehow the doctor I consulted 2022 also could not have the attention to check the discrepancy.

        In summary,

        * According to the 2019 MRI report, there was an “equivocal tear” in your lateral meniscus and “mucinous degeneration” in your medial meniscus.

        * The hospital discharge summary from your surgery in August 2019 lists the diagnosis as “PCL Tear + Medial Meniscus Tear” and the surgery performed as “PCL Reconstruction + Medial Meniscus Repair”. This indicates that the surgical team’s assessment led them to repair the medial meniscus.

        * The 2022 MRI report states that the lateral meniscus appeared normal with “no evidence of meniscal tear”, while the medial meniscus showed “thinning of posterior horn and body” and continued “mucinous degeneration”.

Hi. I’m a lawyer here. Why don’t you show your past and current reports as well as other related documents to a reliable doctor and understand the exact implications of what you’re apprehending. Once you know that there has been medical negligence and what it means in the present case, you’ll be better placed to take a call.

I am going to do this again. Actually, I had some doubt. That’s why I showed to a different doctor who just wasted my money. He did XRAY, MRI everything. I was ok with it as I also wanted to know. But, looks like he didn’t check the discharge summary and latest MRI report.

These doctors are just looting common man. They have in house xray, medicine and physio. This doctor even scolded me that I didn’t do MRI from his suggested one.

This doctor told me everything is fine. As there were multiple good google reviews with 20yr experience. I gave benefit of doubt.

Today, only through Gemini I figured out the discrepancy as I am still not normal with my leg.

I will check another doctor but highly doubt doctors have that much time to listen to patience. They will again ask the same money making Xray and MRI. They don’t even check the MRI film.

Go to someone who is highly professional and patient enough to understand your predicament. Without getting a holistic view of things, you cannot arrive at any conclusion.
