March 15, 2025 at 5:58 amHi everyone.
My parents(55m 53f)are going through divorce. Me and my brother found our dad cheating few years ago but we didnโt tell our mom as we were worried about her health back then and his repeated apologies. He has been cheating ever since and we found his chats/videos/images which he admitted to now and are in process of divorce. Mother was suspicious but wanted us kids to go through his devices and put gps which eventually led to us finding everything out including past affairs. SHE IS BEYOND DEVASTATED NOW AND DOESNโT WANT TO SEE HIS FACE AGAIN.
He is saying that we checked his phone without his permission which is not legal according to him (Sounds funny to us)and once this is done we must delete all the stuff we found about him. Can someone pls clear if there are any privacy laws issue here. We need all of this to prove his abuse and cheating while he is trying to manipulate our mother and us in court if required.
Can we keep these proofs for future just in case he plays any game in future to affect our mother for legal purposes?
P.s we have hundreds of proofs of his(father) cheating with multiple women from past decade* -
