I applied for change in ownership of jio sim from my father’s name to my name on 19th Jan, the customer center said it will take 10-15 days to process it, after 15 days I called the jio helpline and spoke with the guy only to find out the process hasn’t even been initiated yet, and also that it only takes 48-72 hours to process it not 10-15 days, so when me and my dad went to the coustomer centre to find out about the delay, the staff were rude and unresponsive, they also ganged up on us for asking about the delay.
Do I have a case in consumer court as they lied to me about the delay and ofc in that 10-15 days i couldn’t recharge the sim and make a call too as they said any recharge on the sim would be invalidated when the transfer takes place, not to mention ganging up on my dad.
