EI find some mixed report that witness has to come to court and witness does not need to come to court and her statement can be accepted and she can do a testify herself on video.
my dad expired and after 1 month a will was made in the name of dad and after that the forgerer relative forced a witness to sign on a paper.

SYou’ll need to justify why you’re not able to come. Usually it’s because of serious illness or if witness is abroad.
Otherwise witness needs to go to court.

DIn normal circumstances, witness has to be present before court to depose. Because they also need to mark their signatures on their cross examination. Cross is not permitted on VC. However, in cases where the witness is ailing/bed ridden, the concerned party can file an application for appointment of Local commissioner for recording of evidence, who can conduct the evidence at the residence of the witness, by following due procedure.
