Does interstate case transfer takes time or is it easy?

I am filing a divorce in my city. My wife lives in another state. Would it be easier for her to get the divorce case location moved to her city? Or will it take time and cost big amount for lawyers as it’s interstate and she has to appeal in Supreme Court for it?
