May 9, 2026 at 12:13 pmMy great-grandfather had two sons(He passed away when my grandfather was 5)-Big grandfather(now dead)
-My own grandfather(now dead)
So my great-grandmother was left with our ancestral land in village, which she did not divide among her both sons and it was kept as it is
Big grandfather has-4 sons,2 daughters
My grandfather has-1 son(My dad),3 daughters
I don’t really know in whose name the land is,the land has been taken care by the villagers since and my uncles have been taking benefit from it
Now my big grandmother has been saying that the land will be divided into 5 parts as there are 5 sons in the family, but that is clearly unfair for us because my grandfather should have the half of it.
Also I think they don’t give importance to me as I am the only daughter of my father and they all continued to produce sons
Is it legal to do so? Or can my family take any legal action against it?And please give me more insights about it.

May 9, 2026 at 3:45 pmyea this is fucked up.
2 grandfather
equal division is 5050
so 50% of land goes to your dad and the other land is divided in 4 parts unlike this shit of match but make sure to check out if 1:1:1:1:1 is better then 50% cus some cases are like that-

May 9, 2026 at 4:48 pmumm…these other 4 sons have been taking benefit and my father doesnt care at all..he continues to do his bhaichara n all…these people already have a lot in their names, also my grandpa contributed alot in the making of house in village…how is 1:1:1:1:1 justified anyway?? who told them to produce 4 sons?-

May 9, 2026 at 4:50 pmwhat i mean is that is 1:1:1:1:1 actually more benefical then 50%
if your father does not care you shouldnt in this case because it will lead to a bad situation.
How is the relation with them?
do they come in support in term of finance or no
