I got a drink and drive challan and court and going through the procedure with all the regret. I deeply regret my misdemeanour and i am not saying it just for the sake of it. However, i am very concerned whether it will be reflected in my criminal records and affect my future in any way?

Yes it will be put on your criminal record. Everytime there is a criminal check including a visa application, Job application etc. it will be flagged and you would have to declare it if you’re found guilty and convicted.
