April 8, 2025 at 7:08 pmHello everybody. I’m a supplier of electrical goods and last year, I supplied electrical capital goods to a Goverment-owned electricity company XXXXX. After 6 months of completing the equipment, the company refused to pay up, citing equipment being faulty and mechanical inadequacies. We moved to High Court for the same and the court negated all of XXXXX’s claims, asking why the papers were filed so late as well as telling them that the papers were incomplete, and their claim was invalid. Finally, they asked XXXXX to clear the balance amount (8 figures). The supply was in 2023, court order in Feb-25. Yet to receive any of the due amount. How to proceed legally what steps to take. This is taking a heavy toll on business, personal life as well as mental state. -

April 8, 2025 at 7:45 pmHow much time was given to them to clear the dues? If that time period has passed, you can write to them asking to comply with the order, else file an execution petition, citing non compliance. -
