An unkown boy approached my Sister in law in a Bakery shop while he was with my brother/ her husband and with a bunch of other guys followed them home and threw punches at my sil face . Her specs are broken and there are bruises on her face.. we don’t know these guys nor do I think he knows us.we want to know what legal actions we can take against them… .. my brother and sil went to the police station as of now but we don’t want this matter to be squashed or taken lightly .. sil says there is a possibility of the guys being drunk .. we have a lot of witnesses qs the shops were open and there were a bunch of other people standing nearby when this happened. My sil is really rattled and also she also pregnant and in 1st trimester

Try to get the CCTV recording as soon as possible of where the incident took place and post it on every social media including whatsapp. Specifically X/Twitter tagging police handles. This will make the process to find the culprits quicker.

The people around this place either have their cctvs that weren’t recording or they are not co-operating . We made an FIR though. I don’t how affective that will result to be
