I have joined a company 2.5months back and resigned. As I was not able to cope up with the workload and targets it was affecting my health.I have keratoconus from many years- eye disease and migraines. My migraines increased after joining the job which inturn was affecting my vision and same reason I mentioned by providing all medical documents of my surgery and consultations and asked for early release ,but they did not and asked me to search replacement .I am doing that as well.
I have completed 50days of notice period 30days remaining (90days notcie) and now they are putting me under PIP and telling me to terminate without releving letter.
        What can I do now?
        Please help ๐Ÿ™

Since you have to exit – the decision of how you work will depend on you and the relationship you want to retain with the company.

Meet with your manager and discuss your work – workload and tasks. As you are in the exit pipeline – the focus should be to transition your work to someone else or ensure that your deliverables are possible within your exit date. The last week will need you to focus on exit formalities – so count that out.

Next wrt workload – indicate that you are exiting due to the heavy workload and that you will work on assigned tasks only during the daily hours you are supposed to work. Outside of that you will generally be logging out – unless there is a key project task – eg, UAT, cutover that needs you to be present.

If they are not ok with this – you would be open to exiting the company early.

Why do they need a pip when you have quit and are ready to go. You worry about a pip only if you want to work there. If they put you on a pip, it’s better to move elsewhere.

                      It all depends…

Were you kept on PIP before you resigned?

Or were you sent any emails by the manager/hr stating that your performance is bad?

What reason have you mentioned while resigning?

Is it mnc or small company?

                          It is tier2 mnc
I have resigned due to migraines (I also have kearoconus -eye disease) I have shared my medical documents
The company is bad with no wlb and toxic culture
Due to extending hours daily and working on weekends my migraines have increased.
I joined and resigned after completing 1month here. And I have completed my 50days notice already ,40days are remaining.
No mails have been sent by manager or hr during this period
I was not put on pip before my resignation
Right now they are telling they will share a mail regarding pip
Since I have already cometed my 50days notice and have resigned due to health issue.
How should I take it forward.?

You first don’t panic first, as it may aggravate your health problems,

-Usually companies won’t keep on PIP after once candidate has resigned.
-But you resigned stating your health condition and you are on notice period, usually they should not keep you on PIP now,
but managers are vested with powers to keep you on PIP ,saying that your performance is poor.
Regarding that, you ask them why you are being kept on PIP,since they have not assessed your performance yet.

-Let them keep on PIP, what happens?
They give overburdened goals which you can’t achieve,
                              Ultimately they terminate you.

–But they should give an experience letter to what you have worked with that company.
–They will not mention that your performance is not good, etc,. on that experience letter.
–And they should give you a full salary for what you’ve worked with them.

Don’t worry, they have to give an experience letter.
and salary till the end of the 90 day notice period.
