UI booked an escort for the traditional Rs 300 booking charge and when the time came, they told me that they were waiting in a car near my flat and the girl will come only after I paid the remaining Rs 200. But when I paid, they told me to pay the rest Rs 2500 which after a lot of discussion I paid but then they start saying there’s Rs 5000 security deposit which they will refund which after a lot of discussion I also did. But then they start saying that as I made the girl wait, the girl is demanding more 5000. I told them I don’t have that much and they then started to threaten me that if I didn’t pay they will bring up the girls and make a mess in the place (I live in a residential area). I was forced to pay up. But then they didn’t stop, they keep asking for more. At this point, I stopped and blocked them. Everytime the payment was settled, the girl started demanding more and then the dealers starts to threaten. Also everything was happening through call. I want to know if there is a way to make them caught with my anonymity staying intact.

I mean, their choice. I don’t judge :p If times are that desperate, I might. I don’t think it’s much different than manual labor? They provide a service, the client pays.

Legally, you can. Morally, if the other person agrees, that’s consent. Why can’t someone buy consent?

I haven’t read much on this tbh. There seem to be many who do it by choice, and many who are indeed coerced. At that price, I don’t think it’s someone who’s coerced (or even that it’s real). They’re completely willing to scam and ruin people’s rep, but not willing to seek help in women’s shelters?

SThis is like martingaling your money on scam roulette lol. If you obliged them a few more times, their gains would be exponential!
It’s a scam. Don’t pay, you can even file fir if they harass you. What you did isn’t illegal, though the police will take bribes probably, so best not to proactively file fir. Contact bank and ask them if reversing the transaction is possible because you got scammed.

Tips to avoid this:
Avoid using Locanto. Most of the posts are scam like these. There are some genuine posts but hard to find
Never pay money before confirming or seeing the girl
Authentic Services will cost more than 10k. They will mostly have catalogues of escorts in the form of PDFs. Will be very professional.
I found one agent like that on Reddit.

Escalate the complaint to cyber police
Ofc what you’ve done is illegal in India, so try to be extremely respectful and humble while u talk to them
They’ll ask ur account number and transaction details, time of debit etc, (I’m assuming u paid from UPI so it won’t be an issue).
It’ll take some time, but if u do it early enough, there is a hope of getting ur money back. -
UYou will never lead a happy and fulfilling life if you start visiting escorts especially if it becomes a habit. There are many testimonies online of people who did it and regretted it both in the long and short run.
