URecently you must have read that viral post of a case similar to that of Atul Subhash.
Mark my words, if Indian men (Can’t even call them men anymore) don’t take it to streets or don’t start start delivering justice through their own hands, every one in your family will suffer. It won’t matter if your mother is diabetic or your dad has heart issues. Everyone including you will be dragged to jails and courts for God knows how long.
This is a billion dollar industry. Everyone from thullas, lawyers and judges are out there to loot your hard earned money. Even if it means your family gets killed in the process.
If you know someone who’s going through this situation. Then make a gang and start delivering street justice. You will have to make your hands bloody. Otherwise, YOU WILL BE NEXT!

The guy was living separately from his wife for two years, after which they both jointly filed for divorce. He then changed his mind and wanted wife to withdraw the divorce petition. Wife refused, so he set himself on fire in the corridor in front of her house. None of the news articles say that she asked for alimony or is blocking him from seeing their child or anything of that sort. It was a plain mutual consent divorce petition. Why is the woman being villainized here?! Now that he was again interested in the marriage, is she supposed to restructure her whole life again and get back together with a husband who is threatening to kill himself?! A case has been registered against her.
I feel very sorry that someone has lost their life, but people, please read the whole facts and not fall for ragebait posts like this on Reddit.

UOP, you have edited the last paragraph in your post. You are literally inciting people to get violent and “get their hands bloody”. Wtf seriously? Why don’t YOU start a support group to help fellow men cope with their breakup/divorce, offer food and company, take your friends to counselling. Nobody’s family “got killed in the process”. Read facts. Get a grip on reality and stop posting fake ragebait!

How about not supporting arranged marriages?
How about not accepting any “gifts” from the bride’s side when a man gets married?

For op:
Law is about justice and it is different for each case. Advocating for better laws/investigation is one thing but asking men to become vigilante’s is provoking in action and will distrub peace.
I’m not a lawyer.
This is not the right way and even if the right way does not give you the justice one deserves there are other legal ways to get justice. This ain’t one.

UHow will every home be like Atul Subhash when there still are 5 times more cases of domestic abuse and murder of women STILL in 2025. In 2008, Boman Irani came over TV to ring the bell whenever you hear or see any guy beating his wife black and blue or torturing her. This was the magnitude of domestic abuse. You could see a guy hitting a girl in every 2nd house. And this still continues to be the case.
And there still are multiple cases of men leaving their wives within a year of having a child for another woman. So please, majority of women aren’t some evil beings you’re making them out to be. Of course, there are some evil people in both genders but there are some reasons for the existing laws. And yes, of course there should be laws on safeguarding innocent men’s interests as well to safeguard guys like Atul Subhash. I am all up for that. But saying that all homes will be like his? I’m sorry, have some respect for women. -
UI agree, we should go onto the streets but not for violence but for protesting against the inefficient and corrupt system, for holding people accountable, for demanding a better and faster judicial system. Not just for men but for women, children and all the citizens. As a taxpayer it’s our right and as a citizen, our duty too.

CFirstly, there are lot of issues and I am going to breakdown.
1. The men who feel sympathy for other men , need to first fight for men’s rights. Every other guy on the internet is just complaining why haven’t you formed a PIL committee. Even r* pe laws are not inclusive, domestic laws are not inclusive.
Men expect women to fight for their rights. We are probably first generation of economically stable and educated women for men it has been for years. It took us 100 years just to go to jobs.
2. There are wrong people everywhere,when men see future spouse in women they are seeing Atul’s wife not their mothers. Similarly I see my dad, not the history of 1000 years of men beating up women.
Sorry to say ,If women start seeing and actually believing men are horrible,next generation of men will not be born. Think about it centuries of men abusing women, if we as gender see revenge.
3. This is what power is , few years back powerful men never paid child support,kept mistress,blamed their wives for adultery all because they were powerful and they could get away with. Now new generation of powerful women who can get away with breaking laws are added to this country.
It’s just bad people not a bad gender.
4. Men need to understand, it’s not ok to abuse defenseless women. Yes! Defenceless women because we don’t any justice for us even after these laws, only few 5% are getting rest will still need strong laws to even get divorced.
5. Alimony, dowry,child support are different.
Dowry: added money to take away family liability as women were considered burden
Asking money from bride’s family is legally dowry, don’t get money,no fake case can be formed. To file a case you need proof,sadly.Alimony: legally if women is not economically stable or her career prospects were harmed in due course of marriage, they will be paid compensation that is alimony. Don’t blame women,men were the cause. Your ancestors kept changing wives for new models.
Child support: a child is entitled to support from dad as well even if they live with mother, because both parents are liable to pay for the child.
Yes! This can be misused, but men have been manipulating these laws more than women for years to not pay. Change everything to mothers name. Marrying another wife. Laws are problem.
Moreover,I haven’t done anything to you or any other man, so don’t start attacking every other women everywhere on comment section. Because if women start the same cycle remember we raise a generation of men as well.
