Extending Notice period

hi All,

I work for an Indian IT MNC. I resigned while being at Onsite and serving notice period from India. My manager wants to extend my notice period because I did not get the laptop on time and delay in filling Offshore reporting form(the form one needs to fill after coming back to india after deputation). I have all mail and helpdesk tickets (raised due to issue with form).

Can they extend my notice period based on this legally?

No, an agreement can’t be changed.

what can I do about it, any suggestion please? If I don’t comply they will not give my Experience letter. I have 10 year experience.
