UHi, a false posh case has been filed by a female against me (male). I have shared my side of story, chat screenshots to IC. I haven’t heard anything from them yet it’s been almost 2 weeks now.
Due to these false allegations I’ve not been able to work, focus on anything. In short mentally fucked.
At this point I just want to resign from this company and focus on my mental health for some time but my concern is if I resign voluntarily will it show up to my future employer that a POSH case was active in my previous company ? -
HPOSH cases are supposed to be confidential. They are not reported to anyone outside the IC and the district office as an annual filing and that is also not public data. The risk you run is from the gossips and rumours, only they can reach your next employer. Otherwise formally, they won’t get to know.
Also, if you are confident that the case is false, you should wait for the IC to come back. And if you are able to prove it false, IC can take action on the complainant too. However, lack of evidence doesn’t mean a false complaint either. So you have to be able to convince the IC that the complaint was false and the motivation to file a false complaint.
