I reside in the United States, while my fiancรฉe is based in Madhya Pradesh, India. To facilitate her immigration to the USA, we require a marriage certificate. Please advise us on the fastest process to obtain this certificate? Both families are open to any suitable option. Additionally, I am available to visit India for a duration of 15 days in April or May.

The fastest would, Get married and register it in your municipality/panchayat. It’ll take less than a week.

You have to fill a few forms, attach few documents, that’s pretty much it.

If you’re thinking of a registered, register now because that has a 30 day notice period only after which you can get married and get the certificate.

Our preference is not to get married now (Sindur, phere etc) but later.

How about arya samaj marriage ?

On the court marriage, do I need to be present physically to apply for the court marriage? I will definitely come during the court marriage date.

I don’t know what those terms are but I’ll assume you are Hindu.

I’m pretty sure Unless your state is completely digital you’ll have to be there and certain officials will question your absence.

Not to stereotype, but I’m sure you can just pay the right people in your state.

But guessing by your posts, immigration or the embassy will ask for legit marriage details, like your wedding card, photos.

Any Sketchy details and your wife/fiance may risk rejection or even worse be barred/immigration fraud.

Okay for court marriage you need to be present to register your details imo it can be done online as well once approved you can choose between a time frame to get married in court…I guess the registration etc can be done online as well no physical presence required

Hey..we went through the same process. We got the marriage invitation card printed, got a legal certificate notarised from a local MP and then photographs of you signing the document. They asked me a lot of questions whether you went through Hindu marriage but I told them that it was a special marriage bcoz I didnโ€™t have Hindu marriage photographs with me

Well we showed that we got married a day before, letโ€™s say on 16th, got the notarised on 17th and registered on 18th

My lawyer was a family friend of 30 years so if he managed to jump through some loopholes to prevent the 30 day notice period, then Iโ€™m not sure. A lawyer can tel you that. I got my marriage certificate that day itself
