I hope sharing this will help me find some clarity and support. I am a working woman, and I’m also engaged. However, recently, I’ve been facing a very distressing situation with my fiancé’s ex. A few months ago, she started threatening me, saying that she would file a false rape case against my fiance. Over time, these threats have escalated, and now she’s telling me that she will harm me or make sure I’m killed.
I’ve gone to the police for help, but there seems to be a lack of cooperation due to the differences in our states, and I’m being told that I could face trouble if an FIR is filed because the girl won’t show up. This has only made her more confident in her actions, and she continues to harass me. She even created a fake Instagram profile to contact my family and friends, making the situation even more stressful.
I feel incredibly overwhelmed and depressed. Everyone around me is telling me to ignore her, including my fiancé, who says I should not react or take action. But I can’t help the anxiety and fear this is causing me. Her messages, emails, and calls have left me feeling very vulnerable.
She just now messaged me *kya hua FIR nahi hui kya nahi hogi*I love my fiancé deeply and don’t want to leave him, but sometimes I feel lost in this situation and don’t know what to do next.

If you really want to take some action, there are provisions in the IPC and assuming the threats are online, in the IT Act to help you out. Some of them being criminal intimidation, conspiracy, sevtion 66aof the it act- sending offensive messages through communication service.

AWhat is stopping you, go for the reverse psychology.
Record a video where you tell how she is disturbing her life and if anything happened to her or her finance then she and only she is responsible.Send her the video and also send that video to sucide helpline. They will help you and also that mad. They will also involve police if needed.
You have to be a bit psycho to deal with psycho.
Also what ur fiance is saying why he is not helping you. Are you sure you are marrying the right person? -

EHeyy no its not like that he’s protecting me ofcourse but that bitch has threatened him that she will accuse him for false rape case and she actually went to police station and gave application against him so he can help me but not from that front foot

police cannot deny filing an FIR. Even if there is a difference in States, you can file a ZERO FIR as the law recognizes that a criminal can be from anywhere and commit a crime against someone from another state. If they refuse to file the FIR, write a letter to the SP. If the SP doesn’t do anythin,g you can file a complaint petition to the magistrate. You can aslo directly file a complaint petition to the magistrate. Ask a lawyer to draft the needful.
Also personal advise, if your fiance isnt willing to protect you against his ex, maybe question if you want to spend the rest of your life with him. love only goes so far when you have to live decades with someone.
